ID pointers: Fairly distinctive looking. The forewing appears hooked at the folded wing tip. From above a large brown triangular-shaped mark.
Distribution: Widely distributed and common across the county, except the moorland areas.
Flight Period: April / May / July / August / - On the wing in two generations during April – May and July-August.
Moth Activity: Nocturnal Crepuscular - active from dusk and attracted to light
