ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
Confusion Species:  Hedya pruniana(Plum Tortrix); Hedya nubiferana
(Marbled Orchard Tortrix)
ID pointers: Freshly emerged adults show a noticeable pinkish tinge to the white apical third area and other areas of white. This fades with age.
Distribution:  (Last record: 1986 at Beeley Moor )  -  Can only find two records one from Harrison & Sterling Beeley Moor 20/6/1986 & one from DaNES Crich Chase 23/5/1984 – No modern day accounts
