Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Tortricidae Other Name/s: Diamond-back Marble ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
Confusion Species:  Eudemis porphyrana
ID pointers: A rather variable species showing a rich mixture of reddish ground-colour overlaid with darker and paler marbling. The whitish dorsal blotch can be large and conspicuous in some cases.
Distribution:  (Last record: 27/08/2024 at Melbourne )  -  Generally uncommon across Britain. Status in Derbyshire would suggest uncommon but widespread with 20 odd records since 2004.
