ID pointers: Forewing a bright yellow with a characteristic circular brown marking at the termen, enclosing a patch of the yellow ground colour and a brown spot about half way along the dorsum.
Distribution: Widespread and reasonably common in lowland areas of the county.
Flight Period: May / June / July / August / - On the wing during May – August.
Moth Activity: Nocturnal Crepuscular - active from dusk and attracted to light
