Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Tortricidae Other Name/s: Privet Tortrix ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Forewing orange-brown or reddish-brown. The male shows a faint cross band whereas the female is very plain in appearance. Two small dark spots on the hind edge of the forewing help to identify this species.
Distribution:  Found across all areas of the county, sometimes commonly.
