Other Name/s: Large Lance-wing, Epermenia illigerella
ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A fairly distinctive and well marked species. A yellowish-brown forewing, being mottled darker at base, along costa and towards the apex. A diagonal dark brown cross band about half way across the forewing. Scale tufts on the dorsum. The wing apex is hooked and edged black.
Distribution:  (First record: 11/08/2007 at Foremark Reservoir )  -  (Last record: 26/08/2024 at Markham Vale CP )  -  Only five records, one from Foremark Reservoir in 2007 and four from Markham Vale, 3 in August 2023 and one in August 2024, all from Markham Vale CP recorded by Sid Morris. The species is obviously established at Markham Vale.
