Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Coleophoridae Other Name/s: Meadow Case-bearer ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Bronze or metallic green in colour. Note the base of the antennae are thickly covered in purplish reflective scales.
Distribution:  Probable status in the county is common. Species not listed in Harrison & Sterling – Butterflies & Moths of Derbyshire – 1988. Frequents grassy areas where the larvae feed on white clover flowers.
