Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Gelechiidae Other Name/s: Cinerous Groundling, Cinerous Neb ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
ID pointers: Relatively non-descript- Forewing a light brown, sometimes dark or greyish. Usually a black dot on the wing fold at a third. and a further spot in the disc at two-thirds.
Distribution:  Common and widespread throughout the county.
