Gelechiidae – Apatetrinae – Helcystogramma rufescens – Common Zebra Moth
STATUS – Presumably a common species in the county in grassy places.
ID POINTERS – Forewing yellowish-brown, sometimes darker between the wing veins. Occasionally with an obscure angled paler cross-band and several fine dark brown or black dots in the middle of the wing.
FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing June & August
