Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Depressariidae Other Name/s: Gorse Flat-body ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A striking looking moth that can resemble the more striated forms of A. nervosa, but has a more rounded termen, with a row of black dots and two brownish lines in the cilia. It also has a dark central line on the thorax making it a distinctively striped Agonopterix.
Distribution:  (First record: 1973 )  -  (Last record: 18/03/2024 at Buxton )  -  Rare in the VC recording area. First account was in 1973 – next record came in 2023 (Glossop) and one in 2024 from Buxton
