Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Depressariidae Other Name/s: Fen Flat-body ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
Confusion Species:  Adults similar to D. daucella
ID pointers: Thorax and tegulae  pale brownish, sometimes whitish – Forewing reddish brown, brown or greyish brown and shaded blackish at the base. Many black streaks with a creamy white streak around mid-wing.
Distribution:  (Last record: 02/05/2004 at Kings Newton Fields )  -  Unknown as I can only find two modern day records – Kings Newton Fields 2/5/2004 and Kings Newton 14/5/2004
