Confusion Species:  Batia lambdella
ID pointers: An attractively marked little moth. A yellowish forewing, with a distinct dark reddish-brown costa and also at the terminal area. A blackish triangular mark near the tornus. Blackish head.
Distribution:  (Last record: 29/07/2024 at Norton Lees )  -  Nationally common, found in woodlands – In Derbyshire appears to be uncommon but widespread. – Not listed in the 1988 Micro Moth book by Harrison & Sterling.
