ID pointers: The forewing is an orange-reddish-brown. A yellowish spot is located along the costa and a pale yellow streak from the wing base to the dorsum, containing a brownish patch.
Distribution:  (Last record: 06/09/2024 at Cromford )  -  First recorded in Britain in 2003, otherwise known only in Italy, so likely to have been introduced. Since then it has spread to over a dozen counties in the south of England and is now known to be a breeding resident. Derbyshire status likely to be spreading.
