Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Oecophoridae Other Name/s: Northern Tubic ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
ID pointers: Fairly distinctive in appearance. Dark brown or greyish-brown in the forewing with scattered yellow scales and four yellow blotches varying in size.
Distribution:  (Last record: 17/05/2024 at Glossop )  -  Rare in Derbyshire with very few records. Not mentioned in the 1989 Harrison & Sterling Butterflies & Moths of Derbyshire.All current records are from NW Derbyshire
