Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Erebidae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A fairly distinctive all white moth with a pearlescent sheen to the wings and tiny black and white bands on the legs. Entirely white hair on the abdomen.
Distribution:  A resident species that is scarce and locally distributed in Derbyshire. The main population seems to be located in the south of the county. Only sporadic appearances elsewhere.
