Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Geometridae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: An unmistakeable little moth. Sandy-Cream ground colour to the upper wings covered in bright orange-brown cross-lines and a small dark central spot in the forewing.
Distribution:  (Last record: 2024 )  -  A resident species that is very scarce and locally distributed in Derbyshire. The moth seems to survive in small relict populations in remnants of old woodlands scattered across the south, central and eastern areas of the county.
