ID pointers: Very few records since 1988. The forewing is bright orange-brown with three white zig-zag white cross-bands, bordered black. A black spot centrally towards the apex. The moth has a distinctive posture when at rest.
Distribution:  (Last record: 15/05/2011 at Buxton )  -  Although found widespread throughout Britain, it tends to be found locally and even then is seldom common. Local to Honeysuckle. Status uncertain/unknown due to lack of data.
Flight Period: May /  August /  -  On the wing May & August in two generations Mine Period: July /  September /  October /   - Leaf mine occurs on Honeysuckle. large mines formed on the underside of leaves causing them to crease.
