ID pointers: The adults are seldom seen but have distinctive black edged white marks on a bright orange/brown forewing, forewing dark edged between the marks.
Distribution:  (Last record: 03/09/2010 at Ladybower Reservoir )  -  This species is confined to Grey Alder and is only found in isolated colonies across Britain. Only 6 records prior to 2010 none since.
