ID Difficulty:  Red – difficult to identify – detailed examination required, often a Gen Det and/or specimen and quality photographs are required.
Confusion Species: P. harrisella, P. roboris, P. heegeriella, P. tenerella
ID pointers: A Leaf-miner – Forewing white, elongate and orange towards the apex, with three costal and two dorsal streaks. All edged inwardly dark brown. There is a black dot in the apex and the cilia have a fine dark-brown basal line.
