Distribution:  (Last record: 28 February 2025 at Chunal Moor )  –  Nationally Scarce B – Derbyshire status uncertain but likely to be common on the upland moors where the food plant, Cowberry, exists.
Flight Period: April /  May /  June /  July /  August /  –  Adults emerge over a long period of time from April through to August  – The larvae mine the leaves of Cowberry, forming a narrow gallery mine and eventually turning into a blotch in the centre of the leaf, where it pupates in an inflated cavity.
