Mine Period Additional: The larvae feed on Ulex (Gorse) Initially the larva feeds on seeds by boring into seedpods. It makes a case from the green or leafy outside part of a flower consisting of sepals which is covered in hairs, this takes place during late summer. It continues feeding by boring into more seedpods. In November it makes a case from silk in which it over winters.
