ID Difficulty:  green  – easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: The most attractive of the British Tineidae. Easy to identify. A bright orange-red head, a dark brown tornal spot.Forewing greyish yellow brown with the forewing tips bright orange-brown.
Distribution:  Widely distributed in the county. Larvae often found in birds nests
