ID Difficulty:  green  – easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Fairly distinctive little moth with purple cross-bands on the trailing area of the forewing and a purple trailed edge to the hindwing on an otherwise ochre ground colour.
Distribution:  (Last record: 1993 at Back Dale, Buxton )  –  Last record in 1993 when a count of 33 from Back Dale, Buxton was recorded. No further records so the species maybe  extinct in the county.
