ID pointers: A small reddish-brown moth with white cross-line markings and a small white blotch in centre of forewing. Hind wing yellow with a black border along both leading and trailing edge.
Distribution: A resident and diurnal species that is locally common on the upland moors of Derbyshire.
Flight Period: May / June / July / - On the wing May – late July
Moth Activity: Diurnal - occasionally flies on sunny days
