Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Crambidae Other Name/s: Nymphula stagnata ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: An attractive and unmistakeable Crambid. The forewing is shining white with brown markings creating four rounded white blotches across each forewing.
Distribution:  (Last record: 06/09/2024 at Long Eaton )  -  Latest record – 2024 – Described as locally common and sometimes abundant, but very few modern county records. Seems to be associated with Bur-reed.
