Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Crambidae Other Name/s: Chequered Grass-veneer ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A straw-yellow forewing, well speckled with darker brown. An elbowed cross-line bordered creamy white with dark-brown streaking and an isolated longitudinal white patch.
Distribution:  In 1988 described as very local with no recent records. Appears to be an uncommon species now expanding its range.
