Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Crambidae Other Name/s: Little Grey, Dipleurina lacustrata ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: One of several in the group that can be difficult to identify. Identified by the rather creamy or whitish central portion (Median Fascia) of the forewing, two obvious black dots within the median fascia and a “X” mark in the central third.
Distribution:  Not listed in Harrison & Sterling (1988) – A common species across Britain. So assume common species in the county.
