Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Crambidae Other Name/s: Hook-streak Grass-veneer ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: One of the earliest Grass Moths to be seen during the year with adult son the wing from May. Forewing whitish brown to reddish brown with greyish or whitish streaks. A thinnish dorsal streak that widens from the base and is interrupted at about 2 thirds by an oblique line. The whitish streaks are narrower than on other similar Crambids.
Distribution:  Reasonably common and widespread across the recording area
