Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Tortricidae Other Name/s: Pale-bordered Piercer ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Short-winged with a rounded termen. Head and thorax orangey- brown. Forewing brown with a suffused purplish or sometimes pinkish hue. Obvious orange mark in corner of wing tip.
Distribution:  Current status unknown but probably common where there is Hawthorn.
