ID pointers: Fairly distinctive with bright orange-rufous forewings, marked with several metallic grey markings towards the rear of the wing.
Distribution: Common and widespread in the county where there is St.John’s Wort.
Flight Period: May / June / July / August / September / - On the wing during May – September.
Moth Activity: Nocturnal Crepuscular - adults fly at sunrise and later from dusk onwards
