Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Tortricidae Other Name/s: Cherry-bark Moth ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: An attractive species. A complex and intricate array of markings in orangey-brown, dark brown and metallic blue. An attractively marked costa with four diagonal black wedges bordered with orange and creamy dashes.
Distribution:  A locally common and widespread species in the county. Favours rosaceous trees, especially apple, Rowan and cherry.
