Distribution:  (First record: 22 May 2026 at Belper )  –  (Last record: 22 May 2026 at Belper )  –  Formerly present and local in parts of southern England. There were no recent records until one was found 2010. An unusual influx of records in 2017 and more in 2018. It is now thought the species is introduced with planted tree saplings particularly on new housing estate. Migrants must also be included. The discovery of one that was attracted to an MV light trap in Belper on 22nd May 2026 was simply amazing. A first VC57 record.
