ID Difficulty: - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: An attractive little tortrix. Forewing is yellow with an intricate net-like patterning of reddish-brown. A dark greyish-brown angular cross-line roughly half-way down the forewing and a reddish-brown cross-line towards the termen.
Distribution: Locally common and widely distributed throughout the county.
Flight Period: July / August / September / - On the wing during July – September.
Moth Activity: Nocturnal Crepuscular - active from dusk and attracted to light
