Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Tortricidae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Forewings variable in colour from orangey-brown to reddish-brown with darker markings. A weak net-like pattern. A central cross-band that has an angular projection on the inner margin. Helps to distinguish it from cerasana. Dark basal area and dark spots on the costa near the wing tip. Bell like in shape.
Distribution:  Common and widely distributed across the county.
