ID Difficulty:  amber  – care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely – quality photographs required.
ID pointers: Forewing variable grey to dar grey, sometimes paler along the costa and between the veins. Often short dark streaks or spots on the costa towards the apex. The largest and most distinctive at about one half.
Distribution:  (Last record: 4 August 2004 at Kings Newton )  –  Status unknown in the county. Distributed throughout England.There is only one record since 1963 – Kings Newton 4/8/2004.
