Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Peleopodidae Other Name/s: Long-horned Flat-body ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A small and attractively marked moth with very long antennae. Brightly coloured with wings flat and overlapping when at rest. Forewings range from pinkish-brown to orangey-brown, a narrow yellow rectangular mark on the costa and bright yellow band along the wing fringes. Unmistakeable.
Distribution:  A common woodland species throughout the county, with the exception of the dales, probably due to the scarcity of oak.
