ID Difficulty: - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A small but quiet chunky looking moth with forewing a pale yellowish-straw, pinkish-straw subtly marked with streaks of grey.
Distribution: A resident that is locally common and widely distributed in Derbyshire. Present in small numbers across the county.More numerous on the upland grit-stone moors and on Coal Measures.
Flight Period: August / September / October / - On the wing August – October.
