STATUS – A resident that is generally uncommon but widely distributed in Derbyshire. Recorded from all areas of the county but present in very small numbers throughout its range.
ID POINTERS – Looks and resembles a piece of dead plant stalk or twig. A combination of reddish brown and bright cream markings help to create the effect. A prominent “Sharks Fin” feature curls over the head. Fairly unmistakable.
