ID pointers: The moth has a broad forewing that is generally a greyish brown. It can have pinkish and greyish flushes to it. Markings similar to Triple-spotted Clay.
Distribution:  (Last record: 11/08/2024 at Longdendale )  -  A resident species that is locally distributed and generally uncommon in Derbyshire. A woodland species that occurs in all areas of the county. Recorded most often in recent years from the central and northen half of the county.Only few records from the Trent Valley area.
