Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Argyresthiidae Other Name/s: Triple-barred Argent ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Tiny but distinctive with a golden thorax and a white head. Three white cross bands on otherwise golden forewings.
Distribution:  This little moth was not recorded in Britain until 1982. So few records so status in Derbyshire is currently unknown. It is spreading north and west in Britain.
