ID pointers: The forewing shows a distinctive pronounced lobe at the apex. An overall “Brassy” colour to the forewing with distinctive streaks and black spots in the apex area, but these can be missing. 
Distribution:  (Last record: 27/05/2023 at Long Clough )  -  So little data on this species but suspect it is relatively common in the county where it occurs on rushes, wet grassland, moorland bogs and mires. Very few records
