ID pointers: A Leaf-miner – One of three Acer feeding phyllonorycters. An attractively marked small white micro, with brown strigulae, bordered with black and forming three distinct angular fascia. Usually a small mine found in the lobe of the leaf causing the lobe to fold inwards. Found on Acer campestre (Field Maple)
Distribution:  (Last record: 21/09/2024 at Alvaston Park )  -  A common species across much of England where the food plant, Acer campestre (Field Maple) is natively established. Status in Derbyshire uncertain/unknown, but most probably common.
