Flight Period: April /  May /  July /  August /  -  Two generations – April – May & July-August  Mine Period: June /  August /  September /   - The larvae feed on privet (Ligustrum) and lilac (Syringa), and can be a pest in gardens. Often, many leaves on a single bush turn brown and curl up with the mines. Contorted blotch with black frass, then two successive cones formed by folding the tip of a leaf downwards.
