Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Tineidae ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
ID pointers: A yellowish-orange head. Forewings a mixture of pale brown, reddish brown and whitish markings, with a distinct white spot, which is nearly always present, in the mid-area of the forewing.
Distribution:  Common throughout Derbyshire with the exception of the moorland areas where it is recorded infrequently.
