Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Micropterigidae Other Name/s: White-barred Gold ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A tiny species with a golden head and golden bronzy coloured forewings. Only male has the two whitish cross-lines and sometimes a spot or streak towards the apex of the forewings.
Distribution:  Generally distributed throughout the county.
