Tortricidae – Olethreutinae – Rhyacionia pinivorana – Spotted Shoot Moth
STATUS – Common and widely distributed in the county where there are Pinus sp and Larch plantations.
ID POINTERS – The forewing is a mottled and variegated reddish-brown and grey blotching, resulting in a mix of banding across the wing.
FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during May – July.
