Oecophoridae – Oecophorinae – Batia lambdella – Greater Tawny Tubic
STATUS – Nationally common, found in woodlands – Derbyshire status unknown, but suspected common in woodland habitat
ID POINTERS – An attractively marked moth, similar to Batia lunaris but larger. A yellowish forewing, with a distinct dark reddish-brown costa forming a triangular shape on the folded wing.
FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing in July – August
